Camps at BrownHill Stable\u00a0focus on safety, fun and lots of educational horse time. Many times we’ve been told “this is the best horse camp I’ve ever been to”. \u00a0Come enjoy our safe and educated horses, our beautiful property and make lots of new friends.<\/p>\n

\u00a02026 \u00a0 SEASONAL ALL DAY and AFTERNOON CAMPS,<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spend the day at the barn, plan on riding time (either games on horseback or a trail ride-depending on the group). \u00a0For the Winter camp, enjoy lunch and a craft and a horse movie or barn time (weather will determine schedule). \u00a0We are continually offering new One\u00a0Day & Afternoon Camps. \u00a0 Please e-mail for more dates.<\/p>\n

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT : <\/em><\/strong>\u00a0for registrations & full payment received by APRIL 1st<\/strong><\/p>\n

Multi Camp DISCOUNT:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 deduct $20 per camp (after the first camp)\u00a0\u00a0for multiple camps per rider.<\/p>\n

DEPOSIT:<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 of $75 due with registration to hold your spot for camp.\u00a0<\/p>\n

BALANCE: <\/strong><\/em>\u00a0of payment is due three weeks prior to the first day of camp.<\/p>\n

No refunds (deposits or full payments) for cancellations three weeks or less prior to the start of camp, unless your spot can be filled from a waiting list.\u00a0 Cancellations due to illness or injury (entire week) will be refunded as lessons or leases.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

June 15 & 16 – Half Day Camp:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 9am to noon Monday and Tuesday<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mini Camp is designed for young riders, ages 4-8.<\/strong>\u00a0 Information will be very basic, with a real emphasis on fun.\u00a0 Each day will include grooming, riding and a craft, plus basic barn skills.\u00a0\u00a0 A small snack will be provided.\u00a0\u00a0 Staff ratio will be one helper for each two campers.\u00a0 Helmets will be provided.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 $150 ($130 early bird)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

June 22\u00a0 thru 25 – Intro Camp:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a09am to 2pm Monday thru Thursday<\/strong><\/p>\n

A very popular camp for riders who have just started riding or who have never ridden before.\u00a0 Campers will be introduced to all aspects of riding from stable management and caring for “their” horse to riding.\u00a0 Each day of camp will include riding, crafts, horse related games and stable skills.\u00a0 Campers will also meet an industry professional, such as a farrier, dentist or vet.\u00a0 This camp is recommended for riders ages 6-15<\/strong> at the limited or beginner level.\u00a0 Staff ratio will be one helper for each four campers.\u00a0 Helmets are provided.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 $370 ($350 early bird)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

July 13 to 17 – Horsemanship Camp:\u00a0 \u00a09am to 3pm\u00a0 Monday thru Thursday and 9am to 12noon on Friday<\/strong><\/p>\n

This amazing camp is for “horse crazy” students 7 years and older.<\/strong>\u00a0 Camp will be geared to any level<\/strong> rider who wants to work on their horsemanship skills.\u00a0\u00a0 We will work on both mounted and unmounted skills-from grooming, show prep, first aid and bathing a horse to riding.\u00a0\u00a0 Also included will be classroom time, barn management, including feeding and stall cleaning.\u00a0\u00a0 This will be a fairly intense week for students who wish to improve all areas of their horsemanship.\u00a0 Riders are expected to groom, clean up after and feed “their” horse for the week.\u00a0 Also included in the week will be a farm project.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Expect to make lots of 2 legged friends and one very special 4 legged friend.\u00a0\u00a0 Riding time will include at least a 1 hour lesson each day.\u00a0\u00a0 We will also play games on horses, participate in unmounted games and enjoy horse related crafts and activities.\u00a0\u00a0 Horsemanship camp is suggested for students who may want to enter our work program, and riders who can’t seem to get enough of horses.\u00a0\u00a0 Friday am will be devoted to preparing your horses for a riding demonstration for family members at 11:00am.\u00a0 Camp is limited to 12 riders. \u00a0Group will be split to ride. \u00a0Helmets are available to rent ($10 for the week) if you do not have your own.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

August 3 to 7:\u00a0 Advanced Camp:\u00a0 9am to 4pm\u00a0 Monday thru Friday<\/strong><\/p>\n

This camp is organized for those at the Advanced level, ages 9 and older.<\/strong> \u00a0 Riders must be able to canter confidently and jump a small course to attend this camp. \u00a0 Bring your own horse or ride one of ours. \u00a0 The focus will be on having fun, mounted games and learning advanced skills both mounted and unmounted.\u00a0 \u00a0This camp is limited to 12 riders and will be split into smaller groups for riding.\u00a0\u00a0 Mostly we will have fun<\/strong>, hang out with horses and have fun<\/strong>!! \u00a0Crafts and afternoon water games are also scheduled. \u00a0Riders must have their own helmet and boots.<\/p>\n

If you are not a current BrownHill Student, you will be required to schedule an evaluation ride before signing up for advanced camp.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0$470 ($450 early bird)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
