As many of you know, two of my nephews, Nathan and Bennett, suffer from a rare form of Progeria, called, Mandibuloacral Dysplasia. They are two of only seven individuals in history to be diagnosed with this form of Progeria. Progeria is a progressive disorder that involves numerous symptoms of premature aging and eventually results in a shortened lifespan.
The Progeria Research Foundation, www.progeriaresearch.org is working to discover treatments and the cure for Progeria and its aging-related disorders, including heart disease.
Thank you to everyone who donated and purchased food at our recent Student Dressage Show. And to those who made cash donations. We were able to raise $500 to support the Progeria Research Foundation.
